Their integrated Wi-Fi capability is being deployed in a variety of verticals; large facilities, high end retail, hospitals, government, and sports venues.
Responsibilities
Will Include:
Tasked with expanding the company’s position in the Northeast region of the United States the Regional Sales Director will outline the market plan and drive sales, leveraging existing partners while adding new ones.
This is a strategic business development opportunity for a person who understands and has successfully demonstrated a career of positioning new and innovative wireless technology in the enterprise market. At stake is the rapid expansion and accurate positioning of the company’s technology in the in-building total and autonomous wireless communication needs for enterprise users including but not limited to: WiFi, WiMax, VOIP, RFID, RTLS, broadband, security and environment controls.
Prime candidates have a successful history of sales and relationship building and strong industry knowledge of the various and diverse wireless technologies that will allow enterprise users ubiquitous connections. Other key attributes include previous development and execution of marketing plans, sales and business development at a regional level and channel partner development – especially within Cisco, Johnson Controls, and Alcatel/Lucent.
Requirements:
• 5 - 10 yrs consultative sales experience with a successful history of “hunting” and managing multiple opportunities through closure
• A successful history of solution sales of in-building wireless networks that includes strong technical skills and understanding such technologies as WiFi, WiMax, VOIP, RFID, RTLS, broadband, security and environment controls.
• A strong history of sales cycle and forecast management, prioritizing and communicating effectively with customers, management, and other support.
• Experience in management of strategic sales for the enterprise market.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to make presentations
• A self starter, able to work independently in a home office environment
Home based office in the North East.
Extensive travel is required.
