Client Description:

Our client is an innovative developer and manufacturer of wireless last mile solutions for high-speed IP based video and data services. Over its nearly 10 years of existence, this privately held company has been a technology leader. Its customer base – Wireless ISP, municipalities, carriers, and enterprise users, are looking at this company’s products to interconnect its various operations through a variety of transmission technologies that will be able to carry both data and video signals.

Now our client is now about ready to release 5 new products and is seeking a skilled cradle to grave product manager capable of handling the releases in an organized and professional manner. To ensure the success of this responsibility, the company is seeking a manager who from previous experience, can liaison with the engineering team and the sales and marketing team to develop new customer-sensitive, customer-focused, world-class wireless connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities Will Include:

The product manager will develop and support the strategies through the new product offering, new markets offerings, provide competitive analysis, best of breed marketing specification, manage field testing and in general be responsible for customer satisfaction research. As the person in charge of product life cycle schedule and milestone events, the product manager will be working with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customers to ensure timely release of documentation, marketing collateral and customer contact information.

The product manager will be a key player in the company’s future product expansion and market positioning.

Requirements:

Direct experience in a product management role with a minimum of 2 years experience in wireless hardware deployment. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with Internet Protocol hardware manufacturing and engineering experience. Added experience is desired in product planning, and public presentations and training programs about the technical nature of wireless products or networking products. Status as a CCNE or other experience with Cisco products is a plus as is direct experience with fixed broadband wireless products.
