Client Description:
Our client is a world leader in infrastructure hardware for RF communications. Recent expansion of the company’s product lines and growth within the defense market’s requirements for high quality interconnect RF products has provide added incentive for this company to expand its western region.
Responsibilities Will Include:
This Regional Account manager, who will work from a home office, will cover northern California through Washington and east to Idaho. Primarily focused on the defense, aerospace, and industrial markets, this person will be required to provide a technical sales attitude to the product lines and technical solutions for the targeted customer base. Because this will be a developing regional area for the company, a “hunter’s” attitude for sales opportunities will be a desired characteristic.
Requirements:
Experience in business development within the targeted markets and with independent responsibilities is highly desirable. A technical degree is preferred, especially with RF interconnect products, testing equipment, and solutions.
Technology:
Because the company’s products are highly engineered RF interconnect designs, the ability to talk about technical solutions while in front of the customer will be an important factor in being considered for this position. The account manager will have direct contact with the design engineering team and must have had experience in translating customer requirements for RF solutions to engineering teams.
Education:
Technical degree preferred; RF area
