Client Description:

One of the world’s largest and most profitable manufacturer of 50 Ohm cable for wireless systems is expanding once again.

In this advancement mode, the company’s leadership is looking to improve its total cable making manufacturing process and seeks a leader who has the experiences and personality to bring about improvements in the total process in one of its factories.

This company’s leadership understands the necessity of modernization in manufacturing methods, machinery, and process and seeks to lead in world class production of coaxial cable.

Responsibilities Will Include:

The person in this position will provide manufacturing engineering leadership and report to the # 2 person in the corporation.

The goal will be to evaluate current machinery, process, materials, and methodologies in order to bring about higher manufacturing efficiencies and improvement in total quality.

Working directly with the corporation’s leadership and the specific line level responsible managers, this person will lead in all aspects of manufacturing changes for improvements and provide personnel training to achieve efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Must have come from a hand-on manufacturing environment within a coaxial cable company.

• Must be willing to interact at both the C-level and floor level to gain the respect and provide the recommended changes.

• Must be willing to invest their personality in cultural changes that might be needed to ensure appropriate and successful manufacturing improvements.

• Must have demonstrated in their career employment within a similar type of cable manufacturing plant and environment.

• Must be knowledgeable about methods for manufacturing and quality improvement processes.

Technology:

Coaxial cable manufacturing – prefer 50 Ohm; can also have experience in coaxial cable manufacturing with 75 Ohm and braded cable

Education:

Most important is experience and personal leadership. A technical degree is not required provided the work experiences match the position requirements.

Salary Range :

200,000 + extended benefits

Coaxial Cable Manufacturing Location: One or two year contract assignment,
